What to Expect

Make your own way to Athens Alimos Marina around 9am, jump aboard your cruise ship and set out along the Athens Riviera. Soak up the scenery as you sail past the Voula and Vouliagmeni neighborhoods, with their sandy beaches and lavish resorts, and admire the striking coastline as you gaze out from deck. Around noon, stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Continue along the rocky coast of Cape Sounion and keep a look out for the Greek Temple of Poseidon, looming high on the Cape cliffs. As you reach the end of the cape, hop off the ship and ride a dinghy to shore to explore further. Explore at your own pace this extremely well preserved ancient wonder and the surrounding area, learning about its history and mythology. After free time to admire the views and pose for photographs (approximately 1.5 hours), re-fuel with a delicious lunch on-board the boat. As the sun begins to set over the city, arrive back in Athens and finish your tour in Athens Alimos Marina around 7pm.
